Hydrocooling Boiling Cooling Bed

The hydrocooling boiling cooling bed is the most used cooling equipment in LFC sand processing system at present. Although it has complex structure, high energy consumption, and is strict in molding sand particle size, it has good cooling effect, which can meet the requirements of process technology, so it is still referred to as the first choice of sand cooling equipment.

Equipment Characteristics

The hydrocooling boiling cooling bed consists of air bellow, boiling bellow, diffusion chamber, blower system, exhaust system and water-cycling system.

Air bellow

Located in the bottom layer of the machine. The effect is to evenly measure and pressure the high-pressure wind that entered the air bellows, make sure the dry sand have good boiling after entered into the boiling bellow.

Boiling bellow

Located in the middle of the machine, the bellow contains boiling plate, cooling water pipe and the import and export at the ends of the tank. The cooling of hot sand is mainly finished here. The hot sand entered into the boiling bellow. The high-pressure wind that blown by boiling plate boiled them into flow state, and then exchange heat with cooling water pipe adequately, evenly and constantly, and continuously poured into the sand export, so as to complete the heat exchange of cooling water and sand.

At the same time, boiling hot sand also exchange heat with normal temperature air, new-produced waste hot gas flow into diffusion chamber, then discharged to the air after dust removal system purification. The bottom of the boiling bellow is equipped with three cleaning door, which is easy to clean up regularly.

Diffusion chamber

Located in the upper of the machine. The top exhaust hole is connected with dust removal system. Due to the effect of exhaust system, the bellow formed certain negative pressure inside, waste hot gas in boiling bellow hot air is up to exhaust holes and then into the dust removal system, then the cooling effect of hot sand is completed.

Blower system

The purpose of this device is to introduce the high pressure air into the boiling bellow, making the hot sand boil boiling. So the bowling air pressure must be able to overcome the resistance of sand layer, nozzle hole and pipe; Air volume needs to meet the requirements of the cooling hot sand and also make the hot sand in best boiling state. Three blast pipes of blower system are designed with three manual butterfly bampers, which is to adjust the air pressure and volume of high pressure air and control the directional flow and speed of boiling sand, so as to achieve coordinating and unifying between discharge sand and the whole system.

Exhaust system

The purpose of this device is to discharge the waste hot gas that passed heat exchange into dust removal system. Therefore the air pressure not only need to overcome the resistance of the filter and pipes, nut also form a certain negative pressure in diffusion chamber. The air volume should consider the exhaust air temperature and air leakage loss of pipe system.
